In June 2023, GNOMX executed an option with ISMMS for a worldwide license to this disruptive technology which provides high-specificity, low cross-reactivity, and compatibility with rapid diagnostic assays that are highly advantageous compared to any existing diagnostic or prognostic technology.

GNOMX’s initial infectious disease diagnostic targets are post-COVID immune dysregulation, acute Lyme disease diagnosis, and rapid sepsis infectious agent diagnosis with antibiotic susceptibility guidance. ISMMS and GNOMX have been selected for the DARPA/NobleReach Foundation Embedded Entrepreneur Initiative that helps accelerate the transition of transformative innovations into successful products.

GNOMX is led by founder and CEO J. Mark Junewicz, Mount Sinai Innovation Partners Entrepreneur-in-Residence and life sciences investment banker. The Company’s scientific founder and Chief Scientific Officer is Stuart Sealfon, MD, the Glickenhaus Family Professor of Neurology and Director of the Center for Advanced Research on Diagnostic Assays at ISMMS, who has directed the DARPA-funded research program.

GNOMX is currently raising its first institutional financing of $15 million which will fund the company’s operations for three years. GNOMX is pursuing both equity (venture capital and strategic) and non-dilutive (US government grants and contracts) financing.

After only three days of treatment with TVT, patients are freed from using reading glasses and contact lenses for up to 12 months. Patients can “refresh” or update their prescriptions at each subsequent retreatment to ensure they enjoy the best vision possible. One of TVT’s primary advantages over competitors, aside from correcting presbyopia non-invasively, is the ability to correct vision in both eyes without compromising distance vision or depth perception.
