4D Lifetec AG Logo

4D Lifetec AG

Cham, Switzerland

4D Lifetec offers an Artificial Intelligence (AI) backed immunological liquid biopsy platform that can be scaled offering multiple applications from Screening to Verification to Monitoring. At 4D Lifetec, we recognize the boundless potential of AI in revolutionizing the early detection of cancer. With the power of AI, we are redefining the landscape of cancer diagnostics by opening up the horizon of our breakthrough innovation “4D Lifetest”, the first and only Immunological Liquid Biopsy Platform. Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs), a group of white blood cells, react immediately as part of the immunological system to the presence of a cancerous tumor: its DNA fragmentation changes its behavior. Our groundbreaking early cancer detection platform hinges on the combination of a proprietary high-precision method combined with the power of our own AI-based analysis tools. It allows us to detect multiple cancers independent from their stage. A biomarker has no clinical use as long as the sensitivity is not above 75 - 80%. 4D Lifetest outperforms the most advanced genomic liquid biopsies regarding sensitivity for cancer stages I and II. However, until now, 4D Lifetest Dx is not yet cancer type specific. Thanks to our investment and further development in our AI applications, this will change within close future. AI combined with 4D Lifetest offers a unique scalability potential not only in volume but also types of applications addressing huge and fast growing market potentials. Our own AI enables 4D Lifetec to define cancer type and subtype detection which is key once the screening is applied. 4D Lifetec owns CE-IVD cerfiticates for its verification assays for breast, lung, prostate and bowel cancer and intents to commercialise its lung verification assay in the US beginning 2026 followed by an IPO at the US stock exchange.

Hy2Care B.V. Logo

Hy2Care B.V.

Geleen, Netherlands

Hy2Care revolutionizes cartilage repair with CartRevive® hydrogel implant of joint-matching composition, enabling the body to heal itself. It was founded by a patient, now in the clinical stage, ready to disrupt orthopedics. Hy2Care® is a ‘spin-off company’ of the Tech Med Centre at the University of Twente (NL) and was founded in 2014. Of the original founders, Prof. Dr. Marcel Karperien and Dr. Sanne Both, continue to be active in the company. Hy2Care’s launching product, the CartRevive® hydrogel implant for cartilage repair in the knee, is in the last phase of a clinical investigation in the Netherlands for European market approval. The first clinical results show significantly superior results compared to existing standard-of-care therapies. With the FDA Breakthrough Design Designation received, Hy2Care is currently preparing for IDE submission and intends to start initialization of its US trial in 2025. Hy2Care’s innovative platform centers on the CartRevive™ hydrogel implant's in-situ formation. Upon application to a cartilage defect, two naturally derived polymers, Dextran and Hyaluronic acid-conjugates, gelate within a minute. Simultaneously, the implant attaches itself to the surrounding cartilage and bone, providing a strongly fixated resorbable scaffold that degrades over time. The joint-mimicking composition forms a natural environment for the patient's cells to quickly populate the implant and initiate the natural repair of the cartilage. The unique therapy provides natural tissue healing, comparable to best-in-class cell-technology, at a fraction of the cost. Hy2Care is currently raising €9M series B round to complete preparations for the US trial, obtain CE mark and initiate first commercial treatments in Europe.

Swiift Imaging SAS Logo

Swiift Imaging SAS

Villeurbanne, France

Swiift Imaging - Quality ultrasound, anytime, anywhere. Ultrasound is the second most used imaging modality (5x more than CT scan) and the only one not to be used in routine tele-imaging. Faced with the significant difficulties in patient access to ultrasound, particularly outside metropolitan areas, Swiift Imaging offers the first long-distance remote robotic ultrasound solution with force feedback allowing the radiologist to apply their know-how as at the patient's bedside. To this end, the company has invested in a strong R&D program, thus ensuring a solid IP. Swiift Imaging's solution is the missing link in the pooling of medical imaging resources. Swiift Imaging offers a remote robotic ultrasound solution made of two interdependent medical devices: - One side for radiologists including ultrasound data transfer and a haptic arm enabling the exam as at the patient's bedside - One for institutions requiring ultrasound scans for their patients with a robotic arm holding the ultrasound probe.
