BIO Deutschland is the sector association of the German biotechnology industry and has set itself the objective of supporting and promoting the development of an innovative economic sector based on modern biosciences. The Berlin-based association currently has over 360 members. It is run by a board of ten members consisting of CEOs and managing directors of biotechnology companies and their investors. Using a wide range of political initiatives, BIO Deutschland lobbies for improvements to the legal parameters for innovative small and medium-sized enterprises. BIO Deutschland represents Germany’s biotechnology sector at the Federation of German Industries (BDI), at the European association (EuropaBio) in Brussels and at the US-American BIO in Washington. The association is also very active in a broad range of events with the aim of providing biotechnology with a platform for discussion and interaction.

The BioIndustry Association (BIA) is the trade association for innovative life sciences and biotech industry in the UK, counting over 460 companies including start-ups, biotechnology, universities, research centres, investors, and lawyers among its members. Our mission is to be the voice of the industry, enabling and connecting the UK ecosystem so that businesses can start, grow and deliver world-changing innovation.

BioPartner UK

BioPartner is an independent, government-accredited trade organisation, promoting international partnering for trade, investment and collaborations with UK Life Science companies. BioPartner's delegations promote the UK presence at major international biopharma conferences, and companies are assisted with access to government grants and heavily discounted entry fees. MedNous

MedNous is a print publication and a website for everyone involved in medical research in Europe. The name is derived from the Greek word for knowledge – nous – and the English word, medical.

The print publication analyses complex issues that life science professionals need to understand in order to bring their research into commercial development. These issues relate to regulatory affairs, patent law, government research policy and funding. The print publication appears 10 times per year and includes news, company interviews and commentary by corporate executives and other practicioners in this field.

SECA

The Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association (SECA) is the representative body for Switzerland‘s private equity, venture capital and corporate finance industries. SECA has the objective to promote private equity and corporate finance activities in Switzerland. Members of the SECA include equity investment companies, banks, corporate finance advisors, auditing companies, management consultants, lawyers and private investors.

Swiss Biotech Association

Swiss Biotech unites the four leading biotech regions of Switzerland (BioAlps, BaselArea, Biopolo Ticino and Greater Zurich Area). The regions have early on combined efforts with the SWX Swiss Exchange which holds a leading position in terms of life-science listings and services.

The National Industry Association named Swiss Biotech Association Represents more than 150 companies to date and acts as the operational arm for the marketing alliance. Swiss Biotechs’ mission is to spread the message of Switzerland as one of the top biotech locations in the world.
